Another great VCF Midwest — a Macintosh SE/30 find, a VT100 deep dive, and a free-pile score of vintage networking books.

A local garage entry system with individual access codes, scheduled permissions, and an audit log—all without a cloud subscription.

An e-ink office status sign controlled by Home Assistant and a phone app, with no cloud dependency and battery-saving sleep.

VCF Midwest 2025 was a great time. I met Lee Felsenstein, saw the Stop Bits perform again, and scored an Odyssey² console.

I have a new automated blog post publishing workflow to go with my new website architecture.

My favorite new tool from 2024 is Obsidian. It helps me organize my projects, my knowledge, and my thoughts.

Just in time for the new year, my website has a new look and a new infrastructure!
